1. First run Microsoft Word
2. Then from the ribbon, chose the insert option.
   
    
3. Then from the top right corner of Microsoft Word ribbon, click on the 'Equation' tab.
   
4. After clicking on the equation tab, all the equation writing option will be available.
5. From here, click on the matrix and the matrix equation will appear on your page
